How is the quality of resin tiles?

1. Color. Most manufacturers use ASA weather-resistant film or particles. If this high weather-resistant film is used, the resin tiles will have the effect of UV protection, anti-aging, and anti-fading. The specific service life is generally about 10 years, and the color difference is not large. This has obvious advantages over color steel tiles. Therefore, everyone should pay special attention to buying resin tiles and must choose the surface layer using ASA weather-resistant film or ASA particles.

2. Anti-corrosion. Mainstream resin tiles are generally made of PVC as the base material through filling and additive blending. This means that resin tiles are naturally anti-corrosive. Unlike color steel tiles, they are not easy to rot and rust, which will cause the product to lose its use value. In terms of anti-corrosion, resin tiles are still significantly better than color steel tiles.

3. In terms of bearing capacity, the resin tile purlin spacing requirement is 660mm, which wastes purlins compared with color steel tiles. Generally, commercially available resin tiles can be walked on with standard purlin spacing. Of course, some resin tiles with lower quality grades are recommended to be installed by stepping on purlins. Avoid the cracking of tiles due to insufficient bearing capacity.

4. In terms of toughness, high-quality resin tiles are not easy to break, have good low-temperature resistance, and will not freeze and crack even when used in the cold regions of Northeast China. Some special-grade resin tiles can withstand the rolling of cars.

In short, it is a good choice to choose resin tiles with higher quality grades. It is both beautiful and long-lasting. If the budget is limited and you need to buy low-end resin tiles, you not only need to strictly follow the standard purlin spacing for construction, but also the length of the main tile used in cold regions should not exceed 4m.
